Brain Tumour Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) are delighted to present a two part lecture on brain tumours on Friday, 9th March.
The event takes place at 6.30pm in RCSI Dublin, in the 1st Floor Lecture Theatre, Mercer Building,
(Entry to the Mercer Building is through the black gates on Noel Purcell Walk, Dublin 2).
Mr. Stephen MacNally, Consultant Neurosurgeon & National Clinical Lead for Neuro Oncology, Beaumont Hospital, will give a talk entitled “Update on the Clinical Management of High Grade Gliomas”.
This will be followed by a talk entitled “Searching for New Ways to Tackle Glioblastoma: Fighting the Good Fight”, by Prof. Annette Byrne, Associate Professor, RCSI Dept of Physiology and Medical Physics & RCSI Centre for Systems Medicine.
The event promises to give an interesting insight into current clinical practise and ongoing research in the area of brain tumours.
