Brain Tumour Ireland has launched a new website for families affected by a paediatric brain tumour diagnosis. You can access the new Brain Tumour Ireland Paediatric site here.
Brain Tumour Awareness Week 2020 is shining a light on paediatric brain tumours, raising awareness of the impact that such a condition has on children and their families.
Every year in Ireland, an average of 45 children and teenagers, are diagnosed with a tumour of the brain or spinal cord. Brain tumours are the most common tumours seen in children, and account for 2 in 10 new cases of childhood cancer every year.
A diagnosis like this is of course, a very stressful time for the entire family. We hope to create a community where you can find information and support.
