Brain Tumour Research – a two-part public lecture on Wed 30th Oct

As part of International Brain Tumour Awareness Week, Brain Tumour Ireland, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Trinity College Dublin together will host a two part lecture on brain tumour research.

The event takes place on Wednesday 30th Oct @ 6.30pm in Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute.

Details of the two part lecture are as follows:

    1. “Finding New Ways in the Lab to Tackle Glioblastoma” by Dr. Kate Connor PhD, RCSI Dept of Physiology and Medical Physics.
      • Followed by two GLIOTRAIN Project PhD Students with updates on their research in GBM.
    2. “Brain Tumours and Epilepsy: Vital Links Provide Valuable Clues?” by Prof. Mark Cunningham PhD FTCD, Discipline of Physiology, School of Medicine, TCD.
